Privacy
In short: the site collects very little data, uses no tracking cookies and shows no personal data.
What data we process
The server keeps standard technical logs: IP address, browser type, page visited and time. We use them only to keep the site running and protected from abuse, on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and delete them after 90 days at most.
Community access requests
The “Request access to the community” button opens WhatsApp with a message to the community admin. We use your name, block, apartment and phone number only to check that you are an owner or tenant at Belair Lake, on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the community for residents only. After the check we delete the conversation within 30 days. In community groups, your number is visible to the other group members; in Announcements, only to the admins.
Forms and emails
The report and recommendation forms send nothing through the site: they open your email app with the message filled in, and you decide whether to send it. The message goes straight to the recipient shown, usually the complex management, who is responsible for it. BLOCKLET does not receive or store these messages.
What we don’t do
We use no tracking cookies, traffic analytics or ads, and we don’t sell data. The notice board shows only community totals, with no names, apartment numbers or per-apartment amounts. Recommended tradespeople appear with their consent and can ask to be removed at any time.
What stays in your browser
The site remembers your chosen theme and language in your browser’s local storage. These are strictly necessary settings, stay on your device and can be cleared at any time in your browser settings.
Who we share data with
Our hosting provider, which processes the logs only on our instructions, under a contract. WhatsApp (Meta) is a separate controller for messages sent through the app and may transfer data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards required by the GDPR. We don’t share data with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.
Security and changes
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only the people who run it have access to the server. If this policy changes, we update the date below. If the Owners’ Association takes over the site, we will announce the new operator here.

belairlake.ro is operated by BLOCKLET TECHNOLOGIES S.R.L., tax ID 44328604, registered office Aleea Pajurei nr. 4, bl. B3, ap. 30, Ploiești, Romania. Contact: [email protected]. It is an independent site, made by a Belair Lake owner for the community.
